In 2005, my professional path began with a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, leading to a rewarding nine-year journey as a software developer.
2014 marked a significant turn when my partner and I chose Australia as our new home. This move wasn't just a location change but the start of a new chapter filled with big dreams and aspirations.
By 2018, our entrepreneurial spirit led us to establish Chista, a venture named after the Persian words for 'growth' and 'prosperity'. This step represented our resilience and adaptability as we navigated the challenges of setting up a business while balancing family life. Chista symbolised our belief in overcoming obstacles through determination, where family values and professional excellence converge.
During this period, I also embraced the role of a stay-at-home parent for four years, allowing me to delve into the intricacies of human psychology and behaviour. This exploration into the human mind and my lifelong passion for painting and design set the stage for my next career leap.
Last year, seeking to blend my technical background with my creative interests, I embarked on a 6-month UX/UI design course with Harness Projects. This experience was transformative, bridging my software development—skills with an artistic touch and a deep understanding of user psychology.
Now, as a UX Designer with a solid foundation in software development, I bring a unique perspective to the field. My approach to UX design is deeply informed by my past experiences – a synthesis of technical know-how, artistic sensibility, and psychological insight.
